NY Empire FC is proud to announce Stephen Polimeni as the Head Coach of the Girls 2016 ISX Team, set to represent the club at the prestigious Donosti Cup in San Sebastián, Spain, in July 2026. This elite team will begin training throughout the 2026 season, with tryouts scheduled for September.

Polimeni brings an impressive coaching background to the role, with years of experience dedicated to youth development and leadership. He currently serves as the Academy Head Coach for the girls’ program at Albertson Soccer Club, where he emphasizes technical excellence and a strong competitive mindset. Prior to that, he led as Director of Coaching at FC SESA, overseeing club-wide development and coach education.

A former standout at Molloy University, Polimeni blends his playing experience with a coaching philosophy rooted in holistic growth — fostering tactical understanding, technical skill, and personal development in every player he mentors.

"I'm truly excited to join the NY Empire ISX program and lead this talented group of 2016 girls," said Polimeni. "The opportunity to train year-round and compete internationally at the Donosti Cup is something special. I’m looking forward to building a positive, high-level environment that will challenge and inspire our players."

NY Empire FC ISX Program Director Max Ferro echoed the enthusiasm: "Stephen is a tremendous addition to our coaching staff. His dedication to player development and proven leadership make him the ideal person to guide this team toward success on and off the field. We’re thrilled to welcome him aboard."

Tryout details and team training schedules will be announced soon as NY Empire FC prepares for a remarkable 2026 campaign.
