NY Empire FC is proud to announce George Yusuff as the Head Coach of the Boys 2012 International Soccer Experience (ISX) team, set to compete at the prestigious Donosti Cup in San Sebastián, Spain in July 2026. Tryouts for this elite travel team will take place in September.

George Yusuff brings a unique and dynamic background to the role, blending professional playing experience with a deep commitment to youth development. A current player on the NY Empire FC men’s team, George is excited to step into a leadership role within the club’s youth ranks. “Playing for NY Empire FC has given me a strong sense of pride and community,” said Yusuff. “Now, having the opportunity to coach and help guide the next generation of players in the same environment is something truly special.”

Originally from the UK, George began his coaching journey with Norwich City’s Player Development Centres, where he focused on building technical and tactical foundations for young players. Since moving to the United States, he has spent the past several years with Royal Sporting, helping to grow competitive travel programs across Garden City, Carle Place, and Franklin Square.

George’s coaching philosophy is grounded in creating a positive, challenging, and supportive environment where players are empowered to grow both on and off the field. “My goal is to bring the same passion and discipline I’ve experienced internationally and pass it on to our youth players,” he shared. “It’s about more than just winning—it’s about building a foundation they can carry with them for life.”
With his international perspective, proven track record, and player-first mindset, George Yusuff is poised to lead the Boys 2012 ISX team to an unforgettable experience at the Donosti Cup and beyond.
