From the Pitch to the Platform: iTekkers Inspires NY Empire FC Youth

NY Empire FC Youth was proud to welcome Travis Forsythe, widely known on social media as @iTekkers, as a special guest at our recent Media Day. Travis spent time speaking with players across our youth program, sharing his journey and offering valuable insight on both soccer development and life beyond the field.

Travis has built a massive global following through his creative soccer content, skill-based videos, and engaging personality. What started as a passion for the game has grown into a powerful personal brand, earning him partnerships and sponsorships with major companies such as Nike and other leading brands in the sports and lifestyle space. His success is a prime example of how dedication, creativity, and consistency can open doors far beyond traditional pathways.

During his talk, Travis emphasized the importance of building a personal brand, encouraging players to be intentional about how they present themselves both on and off the field. He spoke about using social media platforms responsibly and positively, highlighting how they can be powerful tools for storytelling, self-expression, and future opportunities when used the right way.

More importantly, Travis connected with the players on a personal level—reinforcing the values of hard work, confidence, and authenticity. His message resonated strongly with our athletes, many of whom are already dreaming big about their futures in the game.
