In July 2027, Empire players and families will have the opportunity to experience that culture firsthand.

We are currently anticipating travel from July 19 through July 27, 2027, bringing our teams to São Paulo for an international tournament experience built around competition, Brazilian soccer history and unforgettable moments together.

Compete at IberCup SAo Paulo

At the heart of Brazil 2027 will be the IberCup São Paulo, where Empire teams will compete against opponents from Brazil and around the world. Players will experience different styles of play, adjust to unfamiliar competition and represent Empire in one of soccer’s most celebrated countries.

That international experience will be especially meaningful for our girls teams. IberCup’s Girls Special Edition will bring girls teams from around the world to São Paulo during the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, creating a unique stage for young players to compete, grow and be part of a global celebration of the women’s game.

Be There While the Rest of the Soccer World Is Watching

Our travel dates will place Empire in Brazil during the final days of the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Teams and supporters from around the world will fill the host cities. São Paulo’s streets, restaurants, fan events and public spaces will carry the energy of the tournament, creating an atmosphere that extends far beyond the stadium. Our players will be surrounded by the game from the moment they arrive.

The timing also creates the possibility of an unforgettable World Cup experience. Once tickets are released, we will actively explore opportunities for Empire families who would like to attend a match. Tickets in Brazil are expected to be more accessible and reasonably priced than many families experienced during the Men’s World Cup in the United States, although availability cannot be confirmed until sales begin.

Whether families ultimately attend a match or simply experience the tournament atmosphere throughout São Paulo, this will be a rare opportunity to visit Brazil while the world’s attention is focused on its soccer culture.

Our accommodation expectations have been clearly communicated to the tournament. They include a minimum four-star hotel, a swimming pool, a comfortable family-friendly environment and the ability to keep the large majority, if not all, of the Empire group together.

Hotels of this standard in Brazil are climate-controlled, with air conditioning in guest rooms and common spaces. That allows us to pursue the comfort families expect without giving up the location, walkability and convenience that can make an international trip feel special.

The exact hotel may be assigned later in the planning process as the tournament confirms its final number of teams and travelers. However, the preferred area and accommodation standards have already been established.

Families who join us will not only see São Paulo from a bus window.

This will not be a staged photo opportunity.

It will be fast, competitive and full of moments that force players to solve problems, try something new and play with confidence.

Spend a Day on the Brazilian Coast & TAKE SOCCER TO THE SAND

No Brazilian soccer experience would feel complete without playing on the sand.

The trip is expected to include a day at the Brazilian coast, giving families a chance to step away from the pace of São Paulo and experience another side of the country.

For the players, that day will include beach soccer.

Playing barefoot on the sand changes everything. The ball moves differently, balance becomes more difficult and creativity becomes essential. It is fun, unpredictable and deeply connected to Brazil’s soccer identity.
