Empire Training Center Hosts High-Energy Demo Session Ahead of Grand Opening

Bohemia, NY — With the official grand opening set for Monday, March 16, the energy inside the new Empire Training Center was already at full throttle this week during a demo training session that gave young athletes and families a glimpse of what’s coming.

The night was intense from the moment players stepped onto the turf.

Music blasted through the speakers. Coaches were mic’d up. The pace never slowed.

Athletes moved station to station through a high-intensity session built around technical work, speed, and explosive movement — the exact style of training that will define the Empire Training Center environment.

“This is the standard,” said Coach Max Ferro, founder of the facility and Head Coach of NY Empire FC. “We want players to feel the intensity the moment they walk in. The tempo, the coaching, the energy — it all matters.”

The demo session was led by Coach Adil Gowani, a professional defender with experience in the United States and Mexico, who pushed athletes through a demanding workout that combined ball mastery, agility work, and competitive exercises. Every drill was performed at speed, with constant coaching feedback through the mic system to keep athletes engaged and focused.

There was no standing around.

No wasted time.

Just continuous movement and competition.

Parents lining the walls could feel the difference immediately. The atmosphere inside the facility felt more like a professional training environment than a typical youth session.

“That’s the goal,” Ferro explained. “We want this to feel different. Players should walk in and know they’re here to work.”

Located in Bohemia, New York, the Empire Training Center will offer structured evening training sessions beginning March 16, with three classes running each night at 5 PM, 6 PM, and 7 PM. The program will feature age-group specific training and a mix of technical development, speed and agility work, and plyometric training designed to help athletes build complete athletic performance.

The center is part of the broader NY Empire FC development system, connecting youth players to elite coaching, high-level competition, and a professional training culture.

If the demo session was any indication, the facility is already delivering something new to the Long Island soccer community.

High energy.

High standards.

And an atmosphere built for athletes who want more from their training.

“There’s nothing else like this on Long Island right now,” Ferro said.

Empire Training Center officially opens Monday, March 16, with memberships and class bookings available through the MINDBODY app.

For young athletes ready to train at a higher level, the doors are about to open.
